Janet was first licensed as a massage therapist in Nebraska in 1995 after graduating from Dr. Welbes' College of Massage Therapy.
She is originally from Owensboro, KY, and arrived in Omaha via the US Air Force. Prior to her work in massage therapy, she was an Aircraft Hydraulic Mechanic.
Janet became interested in massage because of its rise in popularity and the health benefits it provides, as well as a personal quest for a more fulfilling career. She is very passionate about the healing touch of massage. Janet specializes in relieving stress, carpal tunnel symptoms, low back pain and headaches. Her continued training includes myofascial release, acupressure, trigger point therapy, and treatments of the hand, arm, and forearm.
In addition to her appointments at Santosha, she provides on-site chair massage for the US Army Corps, the VA Medical Center, Qwest, and the Omaha World Herald.
Janet is also a Licensed Esthetician, and graduated from Capitol School of Esthetics (in Omaha) in 2009. Her skin care focus is on anti-aging treatments, but she also offers facial and body waxing and ear candling.
