Lynn has an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, and worked for a time in the Insurance and Credit Card Processing industries. She experienced and witnessed the adverse effects of stress in every day life. In 2003, her daughter, Kimberly, expressed an interest in Massage Therapy. After researching Massage, and visiting Universal College of Healing Arts, Lynn decided to join Kimberly at UCHA. Lynn and Kimberly graduated together from the 1000-hour program in September 2004, becoming the second 'mother-daughter' graduates of UCHA.
Lynn became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2005. Her modalities include customized, therapeutic Swedish massage, Hot Stone massage, Executive Chair massage, and Pregnancy massage. She has completed specialized training in Pregnancy Massage from Claire Marie Miller’s ‘Nurturing The Mother’ training. Lynn is also a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP).
Because Lynn had learned first-hand how stress can adversely affect your health, she is very grateful to have found massage therapy. It has improved her own quality of life, and now she has the education to help others reduce unhealthy stress levels and to live healthier, happier lives.
Client Testimonials
"I was given a Gift Certificate for my birthday. I made an appointment with Lynn, and received my first massage. Lynn explained what I should expect from a therapeutic massage treatment, and made me very comfortable with the process. She was very professional and released muscles I didn't even realize were knotted! The treatment was great. I felt more relaxed than I had in a long time, and the relaxation lasted long after the massage was over. I would highly recommend Lynn to anyone -- and especially to those new to massage!" ~ M.W.
"I was referred to Santosha Massage and Bodywork by my Chiropractor after an auto accident. It was too soon after the accident for chiropractic work, but he said the Massage treatment would help with the initial soreness, and the overall relaxation would also be beneficial. I was amazed at my increased range of motion after just one treatment. I continued with the massage treatments after that, and discovered even more benefits. I have recovered from my accident and enjoy regular massages that help keep me relaxed. Thank you, Lynn for bringing this calmness into my life!" ~ A.C.
